Automation

Automation: engineering that makes production controllable and predictable

We design automation solutions where product logic, mechanics and process architecture come together as one stable, repeatable system.

Automation is not only about speed or capacity. It is about control. Machines that do exactly the same thing day after day, within tolerances, with stable cycle times and consistent quality. We develop complete machines and production lines where material is fed, processed, inspected and discharged as one integrated process. Not as separate steps, but as a logically structured system architecture where repeatability and stability are central.

Many production environments grow organically. Adding operators may relieve capacity pressure temporarily, but it increases complexity and dependence on craftsmanship. True automation therefore requires more than adding a robot. It requires insight into tolerance chains, product variation, heat input during welding, material behaviour and the interaction between machine and operator.

We design machines that prevent errors rather than correct them. By simplifying processes, optimising motion logic and stabilising references, we realise systems that perform predictably over thousands of cycles. High operator safety, ease of maintenance and space-efficient design, including vertical build when floor space is valuable, are integrated from the very first design phase.

Complete machine building: from product analysis to a stable production system

From product logic to system logic: we structure complex production processes into robust, maintenance-friendly and scalable machines.

A well-automated machine starts with the product. Which tolerances are critical? How do material, temperature and process sequence affect quality? Where can variation occur? From that analysis we design a mechanical foundation and process architecture that prevents errors at the source. The result is a machine that does not compensate afterwards, but performs stably from the first cycle.

Machine building requires integration across multiple disciplines. Mechanics, welding processes, handling, grippers, positioning systems, inspection and quality assurance must function as one whole. We design the complete mechanical system architecture that automation can reliably run on.

By reducing variation to stable references and logically ordering process steps, automation brings stability to production instead of adding complexity. Our machines are designed for minimal downtime, predictable behaviour and clear maintenance structures.

Complete machines & production lines

Design of fully automated production systems where material flow, operations and quality control are logically structured. Focused on repeatable output and stable cycle times.

Welding automation & laser welding

Integration of various welding processes, including MIG/MAG, TIG and laser welding. Including positioning, clamping and hold-down mechanisms, and process stability for consistent weld quality.

Grippers, tooling & handling

Design of customer-specific grippers and handling tools that accommodate tolerances and product variation without sacrificing cycle time or accuracy.

Vision & quality assurance

Integration of vision systems for positioning and inspection, including weld inspection and geometry checks. Focused on error prevention and process reliability.

Product optimisation & DfMA

Analysis and redesign of products for improved manufacturability and automation. Fewer parts, stable references and logically structured weld seams increase process reliability.

Safe & clear machine architecture

Design to high safety standards with clear guarding, safe access and ergonomic operation. Including vertical machine building where space is limited.

Clients

We work for manufacturing companies, OEMs and production organisations that want to increase output, safeguard quality and reduce dependence on manual work. From industrial modules and metal structures to series-produced vehicle components and complex assemblies.

Let’s discuss your automation strategy

Do you want to know where automation delivers the highest return within your process? We analyse product variation, tolerance chains and process steps and translate this into a clear, manageable machine architecture.
