Sr. Mechanical Engineer

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer at MechDes, you are responsible for independently designing complex products and leading larger projects. You perform detailed calculations, select the right materials, and make key technical decisions that determine project success. Depending on the project, you may take the role of internal project lead or work as a technical specialist. You are closely involved from the concept phase and ensure that different disciplines, such as hardware, fluid and production, work together to achieve the desired results.

In this role, you play an important part in delivering high-tech solutions, particularly for the automotive and logistics sectors. You will have the opportunity to fully apply and further develop your technical expertise by working on innovative, advanced projects. MechDes offers room to grow into a Lead Engineer position, with increased responsibility for project coordination and team leadership. Because most projects are built in the factory of parent company AWL Techniek, you work close to production and are involved throughout the entire process.

You will join a team of engineers within the Tooling & Machines department with diverse backgrounds, where collaboration and knowledge sharing are central. Together with colleagues from multiple disciplines, you tackle challenging problems and deliver top-quality work.
