24 hour Fulltime of parttime

  • Experience in HR and payroll administration (experience with AFAS is a plus)
  • Knowledge of legislation and regulations related to payroll, employment and pensions
  • You work accurately and in a structured way
  • You feel comfortable working in HR and payroll systems
  • You are service-minded and communicate clearly
  • You have a valid PDL certification
  • You like creating structure and working with clear processes
  • You handle confidential information with care and discretion
  • You spot bottlenecks and propose practical improvements
  • You communicate easily with colleagues across departments
  • You stay calm when deadlines are tight, for example around payroll runs

Job description

As an HR & Payroll Administrator at MechDes, you work together with the Lead Talent & Performance team to ensure reliable payroll processing and a well-organised HR administration. We are looking for a professional who brings structure, keeps oversight and enjoys having the administrative foundation in order.

In this role you are responsible for a correct, up-to-date and timely HR and payroll administration. You work closely with the Lead Talent & Performance team and liaise when needed with Finance and external parties such as the pension fund and the occupational health service.

In practice, this means you ensure accurate and on-time payroll processing, including onboarding, changes and offboarding, leave, sickness and allowances. You process changes in the HR and payroll system, perform checks on salary components, deductions and pension contributions, and manage employee files to keep them complete and up to date.

You also answer colleagues’ questions about payslips, contracts and administrative HR topics. In addition, you support payroll tax filings and other recurring obligations, and prepare reports on absenteeism and inflow.
