Welding jigs for Easy Rider 3

Last year, Mechdes Engineering engineered welding jigs and supplied turnkey for the bicycle manufacturer Van Raam to produce the frames of a new model bicycle, the Easy Rider 3. Van Raam is a manufacturer of special needs bicycles and produces, among other things: tricycles, side-by-side tandems and wheelchair bicycles.

The welding jigs from MechDes Engineering enable Van Raam to produce more frames per day. These welding jigs have also contributed to the quality of the welds being better, so that manual finishing operations are no longer necessary!

In addition, Van Raam and Mechdes Engineering also looked at the design of the frame and provided input to better connect the design to the production process.

The results achieved have led to a further collaboration between Van Raam and Mechdes Engineering, whereby welding jigs are also engineered for other new bicycle models!
