DEEP SEA POLYMETALLIC NODULE COLLECTION

For Allseas we collaborated in the engineering of the riser handling for the Polymetallic nodule collection pilot project. Our scope was to categorize all the steps required to handle the smaller risers on the old equipment of the Hidden Gem. To quickly identify the problems and design solutions for the bottlenecks. Also the stowage arrangement of the risers on board the transport vessel is designed. This contributed to a successful pilot deployment by Allseas.
