Shop towel conveyor belts

For one of our customers in the laundry industry, MechDes has designed an installation to wash cleaning cloths. The standards that have already been developed by our customer have been used as much as possible.

Cleaning cloths are dumped as bulk goods and sorted manually by color. Because various conveyor belts are equipped with load cells, optimal batches can be composed for the washing machines. All cleaning cloths are chemically contaminated, which is why all parts that come into contact with them are made of stainless steel.

After the cleaning cloths have been washed, they are transported to the dryers. After drying, the cloths are distributed over four different output stations. With accurate weighing buckets, the cleaning cloths are collected per 50 pieces and then packed manually.
